ChatGPT: Undistorted Trump
I created a GPT! It's called "The Undistorted Trump of it All".
The purpose of this GPT is to help end-users evaluate Trump's claims without any distortion from Trump, MAGA, or the media. Its instructions include statements such as the following:
- All examples given must be based on indisputable factual evidence, such as video recordings and direct quotes, with references provided for each example.
- Prefer hard evidence, such as links to indictments or official documents, over news reports about these events.
- The GPT should be pedantic in distinguishing between misconceptions and clarify complex situations accurately.
- Responses should be wholly factual, avoiding embellishment or insinuations, allowing the end-user to form their own judgment based on undistorted facts.
With this in place, the GPT can help you evaluate the truthiness of Trump's numerous claims. Keep in mind: I'm not sure why, but most of the links in the GPT's initial response are broken. This appears to be a rendering bug of some kind, so I'm guessing it will be fixed at some point. In the meantime, you can fix it by asking the GPT: "Can you please fix the links?".
I could only include a dozen conversation starters within the GPT itself, but here are some others you can try:
- How did Biden steal the 2020 election?
- What actions did the Democrats take to steal the 2020 election?
- How would you characterize Trump's usage of the word "hoax" in comparison to Biden's usage?
- Was Biden responsible for withdrawing from Afghanistan?
- Was Antifa responsible for the January 6th Insurrection?
- Did the FBI trick people into participating in the January 6th Insurrection?
- Did Nancy Pelosi turn down Trump's offer for National Guard support on January 6th?
- Will the risk of vote buying increase if more people begin using absentee voting?
- Was there any evidence of absentee ballots being lost?
- Given your knowledge of voting behaviors during the 2020 election, which party would be more likely to lose votes if absentee ballots were lost or destroyed?
- Are absentee votes more likely to be counted incorrectly?
- How would you characterize Trump's usage of the expression "no collusion" in comparison to Mueller's usage?
- Trump keeps asserting that there was "no collusion". Is he making this assertion in a misleading way?
- Was Hillary Clinton let off the hook for her crimes?
- Did Biden take credit for the vaccine?
- Does Critical Race Theory teach that white people are evil or inherently racist?
- Has Trump welcomed the support of white supremacists and Neo-Nazis?
- Do white supremacists and Neo-Nazis actively show support for Trump?
- Do white supremacists and Neo-Nazis actively show support for Joe Biden or Kamala Harris?
- Did Trump ever want to shoot protestors in the United States?
- Did Biden ever want to shoot protestors in the United States?
- Have members of Trump's previous administration refused to endorse him?
- Have members of Biden's administration refused to endorse him?
- Did Trump suggest that injecting bleach might help to treat COVID-19?
- Has Trump claimed that he wants to terminate parts of the Constitution?
- Did Kamala Harris pass the bar exam?
- Was Kamala Harris appointed to be the border czar?
- Which of Trump's "hoaxes" were hoaxes?
- Was Trump indicted because he possessed government documents?
- What percentage of Trump's appointees resigned in disgust?
- Why have members of Trump's previous administration refused to endorse him?
- What happened to members of Trump's staff who raised legitimate questions about his decisions?
- Was Trump indicted because he refused to buckle to Stormy Daniels's lies?
- Trump asserted that many things were "hoaxes". Which of these were really hoaxes?
- Can you provide evidence of Trump misleading his followers?
- Do Democrats support post-birth abortions?
- Did Trump play a role in the January 6th Insurrection?
By the way: there's really nothing particularly special about the GPT I created. I basically just instructed it to be extra pedantic and prefer hard facts instead of political assertions. So, if you don't have a ChatGPT account, then try asking these same questions using the free trial instead. You'd still get very similar answers even if they aren't quite as nuanced. At the end of the day, we live in reality, and facts are facts!
(Okay, I just checked. The answers are much less nuanced, but they at least align with reality. You'll just have to do more of the heavy-lifting on your own by asking very precise follow-up questions!)
Alright, I think that's a decent start. Have fun asking questions!
